ACS (Australian Computer Society) presents the Tasmania Winter Wellness Morning Tea

As we navigate the darker winter months, prioritising our mental wellness becomes even more crucial. The ACS Tasmania Branch is excited to invite you to our annual wellbeing morning at Drysdale House on June 20th.

Your brain, a remarkable 1.4 kg biological supercomputer, governs everything from how you think and feel to how you perform professionally. Yet in our fast-paced, always-connected world, we often neglect this vital asset.

Featured Speakers:
Dr. Rebecca Chabot, PhD Chabot (Wellness Tasmania) will share evidence-based brain health research, connecting mental wellness to brain function. Discover practical strategies to enhance cognitive performance, manage stress, and build resilience through simple, effective habits that fit your busy lifestyle.

Sergeant Andrew McShane brings a unique perspective with 20 years in the Australian Regular Army and 21 years with Tasmania Police. As a Wellbeing Support Peer and practitioner of 'People First Leadership' with Tas Police, Andy champions exercise and movement for mental health, organising community running and walking groups that foster both physical and mental fitness.

Don't miss this opportunity to invest in your mental wellness and connect with like-minded professionals. Your brain health matters!
