TASITE Annual General Meeting

The 2019 TASITE Annual General Meeting is approaching.  The short meeting (30mins) will elect the new management and general committee for 2019 - 2020.  Please consider applying for a position.

At the conclusion of the AGM, Catherine Newington from the Australian Computer Society will lead discussion on the ACS ICT Education Program.

Refreshments will be provided.

ACS ICT Education Program.

Supporting and building teacher confidence with the Digital Technologies Curriculum.

ACS understands the vital role that digital technologies plays in education. With the introduction of the Digital Technologies Curriculum, ACS is committed to supporting all teachers to drive high quality computing education across all teaching practices.

Over the past year, ACS has collaborated with schools to develop quality resources.

A community of practice has been specifically designed for educators.This community connects teachers across Australia with each other and IT professionals and provides access to resources created to date for Years F-10.

Catherine Newington, ACS’ dedicated ICT Educator Specialist will showcase the work and discuss the success the program has provided to primary and high schools. Access to this community is free for educators.
