TASITE Seminar Series

Making Podcasts

Quality audio recordings for your students.

This session will assist you to create quality podcasts for your students or your followers. Recording the human voice has some challenges that can easily be overcome with some basic knowledge of audio production.

Podcasting provides us with a chance to talk with our students outside the classroom and without influence from the normal classroom distractions. Your task as the podcaster is to create, educate, entertain, inform, inspire, make us laugh (or cry) but most of all the podcast must be easy to listen to with quality sound production.

We will discuss and work though a project to provide hands-on experience with recording equipment, the recording process, the tricks to improving the quality of the voice, editing, adding music to your podcast, mixing and bouncing for mp3.

Presenter: Jean Moore (Guilford Young College)

This session is available to teachers of any age student.

Light refreshments provided.
