How do I engage my students in digital technologies?\n\n  During this workshop you will have the opportunity to sign you up for the University of Adelaide online course\, learning about how to use digital technologies in the classroom using csermoocs.adelaide.edu.au\n  A number of professional colleagues will work with you on the day including:\n      * Owen Brasier from the Australian Computing Academy\n\n\n        * Dr Andrew Fluck – UTAS Computers in Education\n\n\n        * Lauren Stanhope - QLD CSER MOOC project officer\n\n\n        * Peter Lelong – Tasmanian CSER MOOC project officer\n\n\n        * Bob Elliot - On-line delivery teacher\, Smartbots Gifted Online program DoE\n\n\n        * Dr Ken Price Principal Education Officer from the DoE\n\n\n  With other workshops to be advised.\n  The day of workshops is suited for teachers of the year levels in which Digital Technologies is specified within the Australian Curriculum for all students (Years P- 8) with the day’s events being closely aligned to the AITSL standards.\n  The days event is scheduled for the week prior to the commencement of the school year and will provide an opportunity for teachers to meet colleagues and work with a number of digital technologies in education specialists.\n  You will be introduced to\;\n      * Coding and Computational thinking\, What is it?\n\n\n        * Where does it fit in the Australian Curriculum\n\n\n        * Registration for the CSER online course http://csermoocs.adelaide.edu.au/moocs\n\n\n        * Complete a number of modules of the CSER professional learning course\n\n  Hands on activities with\;\n      * Makey Makey\n\n\n        * Ozobots\n\n\n        * Spheros\n\n\n        * Beebots and Blue Bots\n\n\n        * Microbits \n\n\n        * Coding online programs\n\n\n  And more!\n   Please note:\n      * BYO Lunch.
