EV3 Robotics Workshop

What to bring:

• Teacher laptop with Education EV3 software installed:

• It would be ideal to have built the robot that comes with the EV3 set. There is a book in the Education Core Set LEG45544-1 with the instructions. It is not necessary to put on every sensor (or the medium motor) as we will just use the ultrasonic and colour sensors during our session.

• Don’t forget to fully charge your robot and this takes several hours!

• Familiarisation with hardware and software (Including common pitfalls and confusions)
• Line Following demonstrations using Smithton High robots
• Beginning Programming and troubleshooting techniques
